Okanogan County Sheriff Frank Rogers says deputies from his office will be in Eugene, Oregon on Tuesday to interview 16-year-olds Shalin Alltus and Parker Bachtold. The two teens were taken into custody in Douglas County Monday afternoon. They were wanted for questioning in the death of 39-year-old Patrick Alltus.
Alltus' body was found Sunday evening. Deputies responded to Alltus' home after someone called to report they'd just found their friend dead. The Okanogan County Sheriff's office would not release the exact cause of death, but did say there was evidence at the scene that indicated there was "a lot of violence"...
Shalin is the niece of the murder victim and she and her boyfriend Bachtold were seen in Oregon on October 1. They were stopped by law enforcement for an undisclosed reason but were not arrested. However, on Monday evening, law enforcement in Oregon found the teens again, still driving the murder victim's vehicle, and put them in custody.

Detectives say the teens are the suspects in the murder of 39-year old Patrick Alltus. Shalin is his niece and she and Bachtold had been living with him. His body was found in his home in Riverside Sunday evening.
"They may hold the key to what went on here," Okanogan County Sheriff's Office Chief Criminal Deputy Dave Rodriguez said. "Right now we don't have a lot of definitive answers."
Deputies say Alltus was shot several times. They are still trying to figure out a motive for the murder.
