Two proud, Pittsburgh great grandmoms were in a waiting room at Heritage Valley Beaver hospital, eagerly awaiting the birth of their great grandchild.

Then, it's alleged, paternal great grandmom Shirley Irvin, 72, overheard a remark about her son she didn't like, made by maternal great grandmom Carole Alberts. Things went downhill from there and pushes and even punches are said to have been thrown. Both great grandmas were ejected from the hospital, and Shirley Irvin has a preliminary hearing scheduled for next week, on charges of simple assault and harrassment.

My husband was the ONLY person, besides my sisterinlaw and brother, at the hospital, when our kids were born. No in-laws from either side. LOL :pillowfight:
