GUILTY OH - Lorrie Pratt, 49, Wadsworth, 25 Oct 2014

WADSWORTH, Ohio - The investigation into this case has shown that Lorrie was seen at a tavern in Wadsworth Ohio during the evening of Oct 25th. At that time she was in the company of a 34 yr old male by the name of Kevin Fisher. The Wadsworth police currently have a missing persons report for Fisher after a friend reported him missing. Pratt did not report to work on Sunday and has not contacted any family members, including her 17-year-old son. According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office's blog, Pratt, 49 of Creston, drives a 2006 yellow Chevy Cobalt.

Wilcox said Fisher — who also was reported missing — was found Thursday.
Police interviewed Fisher, who said he went to Cleveland with Pratt after leaving the bar in Wadsworth.

In reference to the statement from our earlier posting which included the sentence of: "Kevin B. Fisher was taken into custody by the Cleveland Police Department." We'd like to further explain that if any criminal charges are filed in reference to Mrs. Pratt's death, that it would be supported by the on-going investigation conducted by the Cleveland Police Department. Currently, we have no knowledge that Fisher is responsible for her death.

Pratt overdosed on drugs, said county prosecutor Brian Murphy.

Fisher drove around with her body and attempted to use her ATM card before abandoning the body in a field near East 131st Street and Coit Road, Murphy said.

Fisher led police to Pratt's body Wednesday afternoon, police spokesman Sgt. Ali Pillow said.

A Wadsworth man accused of dumping the body of a Creston woman in Cleveland also is suspected of providing her with heroin the October night she died, Medina County Prosecutor Dean Holman said...

“We’ll be considering, if the evidence merits, manslaughter charges or corrupting another with drugs,” Holman said, pending the outcome of an autopsy.

A Wadsworth man, who was charged in November with dumping a Creston woman’s body after she overdosed on heroin, pleaded not guilty Monday to involuntary manslaughter.

Kevin Fisher, 34, of the 500 block of Jessica Lane, was charged with involuntary manslaughter earlier this month after an autopsy report showed Lorrie Pratt, 49, had died of an overdose. The charge is a first-degree felony, punishable by up to 11 years in prison.

Kevin Fisher, 35, pleaded guilty to one count of corrupting another with drugs, a second-degree felony; one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; one count gross abuse of a corpse, a fifth-degree felony; and one count of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony. A charge of involuntary manslaughter, a first-degree felony, was dropped.
