So much do dirty clothes and unwashed students go together that Birmingham City University has issued a How-to guide on how to do laundry.
The Univeristy says some 60% of new arrivals have never done their own washing.
The guide urges them not to leave their phones in their pockets or their keys and to turn the washing machine on!
