Do you know any details in the case that maybe Charley Project does not? It says they have very little details.. Was he a quiet man with few friends? Was he very outgoing? Did he have a routine? Were there any ties to Dixonville?

Ive let my friend know you have questions and hopefully she will join in here soon to discuss the case. I appreciate you taking an interest.
 
I was looking through posts on the FB group and found Wayne's daughter's moving story about her Dad's disappearance. It really touched me. There haven't been any posts to the FB group or page in over a year. I'm sure it's discouraging. :( I hope someday there will be answers for her and her family.

  • Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Graying black hair, hazel eyes. Powell has a large scar on his chest from open heart surgery and a raised mole on the side of his nose. He wears eyeglasses. Part of his left pinkie finger is missing, and he has a receding hairline.

Details of Disappearance​

Powell was last seen leaving his residence on Brushy Butte Mountain in Roseburg, Oregon during the morning of June 18, 1994. He has never been heard from again.

On June 20, his black Ford F-250 club cab pickup truck was found in a brushy area near Dixonville, Oregon, with his wallet, keys and wedding ring inside it. Few details are available in Powell's case.
