Stop taking about the temps! The cold left us in CO and now our friends in the east are getting hammered! They might start throwing rotten eggs our way! And, no trial tomorrow to warm their hearth!

I am sooo disgusted with this trial. Give it up already, give her LWOP.. someone will knock her off anyway. The Alexanders will have to realize it is for the best. The law takes into consideration what the family would like but the decision is up to the court. They have been through enough already, so has everyone else..Not to mention over 2 million dollars!ullhair:

There has to be something done about revictimizing in the TRUE VICTIM in ALL cases. Defense lawyers like to make their clients to be viewed as VICTIMS and it makes me sick! False accusations only hurt TRUE VICTIMS. CMJA only hurts anyone that has been a true victim (male or female) of emotional/physical abuse!
The emotional abuse Jodi claims, well it is just absurd. I have lived it, her claims are beyond ridiculous! The fact that some "expert" will get up on the stand and swear that Travis was abusive is abhorrent to me. It takes abuse day after day after day, month after month, IN PERSON to elicit any such "brainwashing". This expert is just an ALV clone with little credibility. I can't wait for cross by JM!

10 degrees this am- brrrrrrrrrrr!!! Good thing I remembered to let some of my faucets stream a little water overnight (didn't want frozen
pipes :scared: )- the water only trickled out, but finally the water went back to normal.
Hopefully this frigid weather leaves soon.

Bundle up, wear my woolies., and crank up the heat. :facepalm:

Since I don't have my car (my son is using it because his car didn't pass inspection and it's in the shop being worked on),

I'm grateful this AM to be in a warm house with a hot cup of coffee and just have to look out of my window at the cold instead of being out in it.

Good morning all! The DH and I are off to the motorcycle shop today to do what you do at a motorcycle super store: Gawk at all the SHINY and much eye-rolling over the inflated prices. Good times!

When I moved here from Texas and it got down to 50 degrees one day, my neighbor was working on his car in a tee shirt. I asked him why he didn't have a coat on, as I was freezing. He laughed and asked where I was from. He was originally from Chicago and said 50 was warm. I thought he was nuts. As it grew colder, I asked a friend how they did it! She said one word. Layering. Lots of thin layers next to your skin. Then you peel them off as the day wears on. It works! I know people in the South don't understand. All they can wear is one layer. LOL. And then one heavy coat on a cold day. That just won't work here in the North.

But we get the beautiful four seasons. Just when you get sick of one season, the next one arrives in all it's splendor. Love living here.
