In a neighborhood of new homes, 41-year-old Karel Padron Perez.was found in his home, dead from a gunshot wound. Police have released photos of the suspect captured on home security video.

Wow, that's about the clearest security camera image I've seen. Nice that the suspect wore a #12 shirt too -- that ought to make it even more likely that people will recognize this guy -- acquaintances/friends, as well as members of the public he might have interacted with that day (store clerks, etc.).

3rd arrest:

Keion Maxwell, 18, of Little Rock was arrested on Wednesday. According to a police report Maxwell was in possession of a loaded .40 caliber handgun at the time of his arrest.

He is charged with Capital Murder and Carrying a Weapon.


In an earlier report, Mr Perez's wife said she did not recognize the women who were arrested, but her husband may have known them. Still.... no news about motive. Robbery? Was he killed with his own gun or did they bring it with them? I'm so happy they are in custody so quickly!

Keion Maxwell pleaded guilty to first degree murder and was sentenced to 25 years.

I was unable to find any articles about a trial or sentencing for Stacey Keiona Jones, but she is serving a 120 month prison sentence according to the Arkansas Dept. of Corrections.
