Katia Williams AKA Katia Smith remains in Stark County Jail for the murder of her 2 year old son Dalil Smith. There were a total of 9 children in the home & Katia Williams is currently pregnant. In the articles that I have read it states that a 4 & 5 year old told investigators that their mother beat Dalil for peeing on himself. . It goes on to state bruises, cut & burns were also noted on Dalil. All the children are under the custody of Stark County Social Services.

Just heartbreaking that this precious angel died this way!

Looking up her criminal record she is listed as Katia Williams.

She will remain jail on $1million cash ore surety. She waived the Preliminary hearing. All records are to be sealed & they will e sending it to the Grand Jury.

This is definitely a trial I will do my best to attend.

She pled guilty and was sentenced to 14 years in prison, which in my opinion is not long enough. They gave her this plea deal allegedly, to protect the other children from having to testify against their mother. Sadly this was the second major incident to Dalil, the first being some kind of damage to his private parts. My heart aches for this precious little child who deserved none of this!
