Here is Marina's MySpace photo page that shows her with much blonder hair than the picture posted upthread...

She has a young son who sure is a handsome little guy. I hope she's okay and can make it back to him and her family.

Marina was reportedly last seen leaving her work at IGA in Bloomfield at around 6 p.m. Dec. 31. Ashley said that Marina was on the phone with a friend at that time, and that she may have had an argument with her son’s father.

<snipped>

“We want everyone to know we are there and present and wanting to find her,” Ashley said. “There has been a lot of talk that we are not concerned about finding her, but that is not true.”

She added that it has been difficult with family members living so far away, but now that her brother will be in the area, Ashley hopes she will be able to keep the Facebook page she has created more up to date.

There are some possible clues (buried in the replies) on the FB page - car description, sketchy description of a POI. The state troopers are involved and some of the family have traveled down to Bloomfield to search for Marina. The sister-in-law is doing a fabulous job getting the word out to the media and agencies.

My prayers are with the family and Marina. I hope she's okay and makes it home soon.

My favorite woman's name.
I hope Marina is somewhere safe tonight.

Boelter investigation continues; CrimeStoppers offers reward

A representative of CrimeStoppers, Chief Troy Jerrell of the Linton Police Department, confirmed Monday that Greene County CrimeStoppers is offering a reward for information, but CrimeStoppers does not promise a specific dollar amount.

"Traditionally, the local CrimeStoppers organization does not advertise the amount of a reward," said Jerrell. "They normally pay according to the type of crime they're trying to solve, and the quality of the information."

Jerrell said it all depends on the case and the circumstances surrounding it.

"In a missing person case or a death case, the reward would be substantial."

A clothing description has been issued. Marina was wearing...

a pair of denim jeans with bling on the back pockets, a dark "navy" pea coat and her purse has a picture of the Philadelphia "LOVE" statue on it.

The family is still trying to get approval for an official search. The Ohio Chapter of Texas EquuSearch is poised and ready to go.

There will be a candlelight prayer vigil for Marina:

Date: Friday, Jan. 9th
Time: 5:00 p.m.
Location: in the South Shelter at Bloomfield town park.

Why did her employer report her missing and not her family?

http://www.gcdailyworld.com/story/2153242.html

Thanks, JerseyGirl, for posting the new picture of Marina. I hope this is the one that is used officially from now on.

About the family...There seems to be a back story there that we aren't privy to. According to the Find Marina FB page, Marina's mother is not helping in the search though she lives in the vicinity. Other family members have traveled to Bloomfield from other states and are trying to coordinate search efforts. What is not known (by me at least) is if she lives with her mom or on her own or with a boyfriend. Marina was seen at 6:00pm on New Year's Eve and was reported missing the next morning. Why was she reported missing when maybe she had just slept in? How did the co-workers know something else was going on?

Thanks Mama for the background info.

Here's a link from Texas Equuusearch so they must be on it:

It's only a half hour drive between Sullivan IN and Bloomfield IN. It's a litttle odd two young women missing like that.

Are you referring to Tiffanie Adams as the second missing woman, Pappa Rob? She has been found and her manner of death is homicide. The two cities are pretty close to one another but my guess is that the cases have nothing to do with one another. IMO.

He (Stuart Cobb - coworker) then cites a situation in Boelter's own life as a classic example.

"If there's something pulling you back," he said, "just like with Marina getting her son back, having a job, and she was on the right path. You can't let things like that hold you back, you've got to move forward and push through it. That's exactly what they did, they were working to be better people just like all of us are trying to be."

Bloomfield business hit hard by recent death of Tania Holloman, disappearance of Marina Boelter
Matt Williams, Marina's Manager at IGA told us it's been a rough start to 2015. Employees were the ones who reported the disappearance, since most family is from out of town. She does have an infant, who is currently with foster parents.

Marina's father told us, if anyone has any information at all come forward:
John Boelter, Marina's Father said, "We'd like the surrounding communities to help us in the search for Marina. Anybody with property out in the country, if you could walk the property, look anywhere, abandoned buildings, help us please find, please help us find Marina."

Tania Holloman who recently died in a tragic accident in Greene County was also an employee of the Bloomfield IGA. But, we're told, they are two different investigations. Family from Ohio, Nevada, and Arizona are all flying in. They're putting up flyers and have created a Facebook page.

ETA: Sorry, Los, this exactly what you posted up thread. Guess my page didn't refresh like I thought it did. Oops!

This report does clear up where Marina's son is during this ordeal - foster care. And, on the FB page, it's stated that she has her own apartment but that it doesn't seem like she made it back there after leaving work.

Lastly, I found a talent search page for Marina. Hopefully, she didn't meet up with anyone from that site...

Someone knows where she is and what has happened. C'mon, people! Give it up!!
