MISSING PERSON - ASSISTING ROARING SPRING POLICE

The Roaring Spring Borough Police Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of Stephanie Michele Waters. Stephanie is a 21-year-old white female with dyed red hair, 53 and approximately 100 pounds. She was last seen at a business in Roaring Spring on January 8, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. Stephanie is accompanied by her dog "Duke". Stephanie should be operating a 2005 Mazda Tribute, white in color, unknown Pennsylvania registration. Stephanie stated that she intended on visiting a friend in Woodbury, Bedford County but never arrived. Stephanie's cellphone is currently shut-off or battery expired.

When Stephanie did not show to pick up her boyfriend from work, he wondered what happened. When he returned to the residence they shared, Stephanie and the dog were gone, but oddly the tv was still on. Also Stephanie had never arrived at her friend’s house, as expected.

Despite the rumors of her car being found and that her dog was found in it deceased, Stephanie Waters is still missing. I am thinking this might be a case of foul play. Jmo.

Missing Woman Has Local Ties

According to Waters’ boyfriend, Stephanie and her dog named Duke, got into a recently purchased 2005 white 4-door, Mazda Tribute carrying a PA license plate JSW5615 and was to have headed out to visit a friend in Woodbury, PA in Bedford County.When Stephanie did not show to pick up her boyfriend from work, he wondered what happened. When he returned to the residence they shared, Stephanie and the dog were gone, but oddly the tv was still on. Also Stephanie had never arrived at her friend’s house, as expected.

The boyfriend then walked to his brother’s house in Newry. He arrived there around 2:30AM and together they started searching for Stephanie, in case she was involved in an accident or broken down along the road.

Police were contacted around 7:30AM, when they could not locate Stephanie.

Sally Harr received the news of her daughter’s disappearance around 4:40AM and she started calling her daughter’s cell phone. Sally continues to call her daughter’s cell phone and there is still no answer from Stephanie. As of 11PM on January 9, 2015, it has been 26 hours since anyone has seen or heard from Stephanie Waters.

MISSING PERSON - UPDATE

It is with great sadness that we report that the bodies of Stephanie Michele Waters and her dog Duke were located. The investigation is being handled by the Pennsylvania State Police, Bedord barracks. We would like to thank everyone who assisted and/or helped spread the word of her disappearance. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Stephanie Waters.
