Myerstown man sentenced for break-ins - December 2015

A 20-year-old Myerstown man was sentenced Wednesday for burglarizing two auto sales businesses and stealing five cars in Jackson Township in 2013.

Judge Bradford H. Charles sentenced Athan L. Ballester to Lebanon County prison for six to 23 months for burglarizing Kohl's German Auto, Jackson Township, on Sept. 3, 2013, and JD Performance Auto Sales, Jackson Township, between Sept. 9 and 10, 2013. Five cars were stolen.

Charles also ordered Ballester to pay fines totaling $650 for burglary, criminal mischief, corruption of a minor and unauthorized use of vehicles. Police charged Ballester with breaking into JD Performance Auto with a 17-year-old boy.
