"An elderly man and woman shot to death Wednesday afternoon in their township farmhouse rarely left home, but they were friendly and well-liked by neighbors."

"after another couple who came to see them had knocked on the door to their home at 6379 Fairhill St. SE, said Stark County Sheriff George T. Maier. When no one answered, the couple believed something was amiss and dialed 911."

"Dobransky not only owned the home she lived in, she owned several other properties in the area, “as far as you can see,” said Schaar as he stood in Newport’s driveway."

I keep searching for any updates but I am not finding any. Praying that the Stark County Sheriff will be able to solve this so it does not become another cold case.

"Sheriff George Maier believes the victims knew their killer and predicts an arrest will come soon. The sheriff said they are not sure of the motive yet."

The Sheriff has not released any further information, motive or updates on this case. It is so sad that these individuals lived this long & had their lives taken in this horrific manner.

I thought I'd heard on the news that someone came by to pay the rent, close enough to the Chumleys location, gotta wonder if connected. I need to read more details on time frames but the chumleys were Tues night into Wednesday morning?

LIke the Dermond case and this one, strange nothing else took you home to your Lord at 97 until such as this! seems to be happening in abundance, the gov't wont have to worry about euthanasia at this rate!!!! Horrible to take advantage of the elderly, gonna go read more now

So no POI or Suspect yet and this occurred in November? yet sheriff felt confident they'd find the killer? It's barely even been heard of. This could be commited by the same crackpots headed to FL now! Clark and Co! Esp since they owned rental property as did the chumleys . How much time passed before the bodies were discovered? Horrible

In the article it says they were "dead for hours" I am really disappointed they have not said much more. Personally, I would be delving deaply into the possibility that the group involved in killing the Chumney''s, may very well have something to do with these murders. Waynesburg is not a town that has a lot of violence so this was quite a shock to the Community.

Dont know how many properties she/they owned but someone may have known they had some cash lying around, if so, which no one will ever know probably, but that would seem to fall in line with the Chumley case IMO, these guys robbed a safe and killed and then robbed stores too so money is the thing driving them it seems

wonder if anyone is looking into the Robert clark and co in regards to this
If they are they certainly are not saying a word. There has been no further information in the local papers her about it. I would imagine they are because the Stark County Sheriff has one of their accomplices, Dustin Bowe, who had the Chumney's credit cards.

http://www.newsnet5.com/news/local-...s-of-interest-in-murders-stark-county-seniors

OSNABURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Stark County detectives have "promising leads" in the murders of two senior citizens who were shot last November inside a farmhouse in Osnaburg Township.

"There's definitely people of interest that we continue to look at," said Major C.J. Stantz.

Stantz indicated DNA evidence is being processed at a crime lab and interviews are ongoing.

He would not name any suspects or discuss a possible motive, but Stantz said he has "high hopes" the case will be solved.

___________

Finally there is some more information on this case. I hope there is an arrest soon. These Helen & Kenneth deserve Justice!

It is unbelievable to me that there are still no updates on this case. I live in this general vicinity and not a word has been said about this case. I continue to hope that sometime soon LE gets a break and can go forth and charge someone
