A Milwaukee man has been charged with fatally stabbing his infant daughter and another man during an argument Jan. 23... According to the criminal complaint, Garcia was upset over a video posted online showing one of the victims playing with his daughter...

According to the complaint, Garcia asked the woman if they could get back together. When she refused, Garcia pulled out a knife and began stabbing her. Investigators said two other men in the home ran into the kitchen after hearing the woman scream. Police said Garcia stabbed both men. One of the men, Paul Kucharczyk, died as a result of the attack. The medical examiner said Kucharczyk was stabbed 44 times.

Court documents say that Garcia then pleaded with the woman to come out of the bathroom. When she refused, police said Garcia entered a bedroom and stabbed his 5-month-old daughter six times.

Oh dear God!

I think I might need to get away from this place for a while.

How horrible! Do they have the death penalty in WI? I hope so and I hope the killer gets it.

"She loved her baths,” Kairri’s great grandfather Patrick Dailey said. Dailey showed WISN 12 News pictures of Kairii. They are all he has to remember her now.

"I had to go down and make the ID, and that was tough. The gal at the ME's office said they've all been crying over this. This is the worst they've ever seen,” Dailey said...

The mom survived the attack but suffered serious injuries. "He missed the spine by just millimeters. She had stitches on her arms, across the bridge of her nose, and her hand is severely damaged,” Dailey said.

Too bad he didn't fatally stab himself.

A man who fatally stabbed his own baby and another man and wounded two others during a jealous rage last year was sentenced to life in prison Friday, with no chance of parole for 60 years.

Ruben Garcia, 21, was charged in the Jan. 23, 2015, attacks and later pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, but sought to be found legally not responsible due to mental illness.

A jury in January found that Garcia suffered from a mental disease or defect, but that it did not prevent him from appreciating the wrongfulness of his actions, or conforming his actions to the law.
