According to Hill County Sheriff Michael Cox, a skull was found in a very rugged part of Lake Aquilla that is managed by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is designated as a public hunting area. The sheriff added that the remains were located in a very remote area off Hill County Road 2446...

Sheriff Cox said that his department and the Texas Rangers are also investigating a similar case in which human remains were found in a nearby area last September... The remains were located within a mile radius from where the skull was found.

Sheriff Cox said that his department and the Texas Rangers are ongoing in its investigation and that evidence found thus far could not link the two cases together.

The Hill County Sheriff's Office is still investigating both cases. Investigators believe the remains may be those of a missing man from Navarro County. The Hill County Sheriff says that man had been missing for more than four months when his car was found in a secluded area near the remains.

Navarro County is the Corsicana area. Couldn't find an MP thread matching this description.
