Suge Knight was allegedly behind the wheel of a fatal hit-and-run accident this afternoon in Compton, California that left one person dead and another man injured. The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department released a statement confirming that an accident had occurred, with The Hollywood Reporter adding that the incident took place after filming had finished on a promotional shoot for the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton.

According to TMZ, Knight and his friend Terry Carter were visiting the set when security guards asked the former Death Row exec to leave. After exiting the vehicle, Knight then got into a fight with two crew members before Knight hopped back into his vehicle and gunning it into reverse. However, Carter was allegedly attempting to reenter the vehicle by going behind the vehicle toward the passenger door when Knight hit him. Carter was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Strange ^^^^. This conflicts a bit with what was shown on the local LA news today. I watched a few newscasts today and tonight. And they kept showing a big silver Cadillac [ i think] that was parked in the studio lot. And they kept referring to it as Terry Carter's vehicle. It was parked just feet away from where the body was shown, covered in the lot.

So it seems odd that this story has him riding with Sug, and getting back in the car. I am wondering if that might be spin from Sugs attorney. ????

Knight’s attorney, James E. Blatt, confirmed to EW that Knight ran over two bystanders when he tried to escape an altercation with two other men on the set of a film project where Dr. Dre and Ice Cube were present.
Blatt confirmed that the victim is TV actor Terry Carter (of McCloud and the original Battlestar Galactica) and was a close friend of Knight’s. The second victim, whom Blatt identified as Cle Sloan, is in unknown condition, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

Homicide detectives interviewed rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight today following a Thursday fatal crash in Compton, California, authorities said.

His attorney says Knight was behind the wheel in the accident, which killed one man and injured another.

Knight claimed he was attacked by two people and while driving away, he hit one man with his car, killing him, his attorney, James Blatt, told ABC station KABC. Another man was hospitalized.

At this point, no charges have been filed.

So I guess that was all ' attorney-spin' when he said that 'his friend' was trying to get in the vehicle, and he accidentally backed over him?
 
He accidentally backed over him twice after a confrontation.
 
So here are the first statements about what happened, coming from the attorney after Suge filled him in:

when in reality, Suge got into an argument with them, then followed in his car when the others went out to eat. And then he purposely ran them over, then backed over them again on his way out.
 
Just saw video footage of Suge and his attorneys, s he was turning himself in. And he was smoking a big fat cigar on his way to jail. I hope they keep him in :jail: for a long long time. He should not be out sharing air with the rest of us.
 
I love how at the beginning some MSM were reporting that the person killed was Terry Carter from Battlestar Galactica. LOL

He is 86. Wrong guy.

The cigar is part of his signature look… tells you what he was more worried about walking in there: keeping up an image. He killed a man that was supposedly his friend, and he was more about how he looked while turning himself in. Sick...
