Wichita police are looking for a couple after a Friday morning disturbance in the 1000 block of N. Hydraulic. When police arrived on the scene, they say they found signs of a disturbance in the home. Witnesses said they saw a man carrying a woman to a car, then heard gunshots. Police are now actively searching for Darnell Hall, 22, and Sabrina Guerrero Newman, 23. They say the couple may be driving a 2007 blue Hyundai Sonata, Kansas license plate no. 086FTW. UPDATE: Wichita police have taken 22-year-old Darnell Hall into police custody. He was found at the Dillon's located at Harry and Edgemoor.Police are still looking for Sabrina Guerrero Newman and her 2007 blue Hyundai Sonata, KS tags 086FTW.

Captain Brian White gave a briefing Friday afternoon near the scene. He said that police had found the vehicle they had been looking for through the day around 2:45 p.m. He said the woman’s body was inside the vehicle but did not elaborate. He said there are further steps that need to be taken to make a positive identification but all indications at this time are that it is Sabryna Newman.

The victim, identified by police as 23-year-old Sabryna Guerrero or Newman, was found at 19th and Hydraulic, Lt. James Espinoza said. Her boyfriend, Darnell D. Hall, 22, was arrested in a parking lot of the Dillons at Harry and Edgemoor at 11:10 a.m., about three hours after he was seen carrying the victim from the house at 1139 N. Hydraulic.

Police will release more information at a briefing for the media at 4 p.m.
