MN MN - Mark Folz, 49, Willmar, 15 Jan 2003

Mark Duane Folz has been missing since Jan. 15, 2003. He drove to the Veterans Administration Medical Center in the Twin Cities on that date and was known to have visited an ATM machine at 1527 E. Lake St. in Minneapolis.

He was described as being a 6-foot-1-inch white male, weighing 250 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Folz has prosthetic lower legs and a “tear drop” tattoo below his right eye on his cheek.

He was last seen driving a 1991 maroon Ford Taurus with a license plate number of DTC-675. The vehicle also went missing at the time of his disappearance.

So, Mark has an active warrant but I can't tell if it was issued before or after his disappearance. I'm assuming that his car hasn't been found either.

Details of Disappearance​

Folz was last seen at approximately 2:00 p.m. on January 16, 2003, at an ATM in the vicinity of the 1500 block of east Lake Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He said he was traveling to Hastings, Minnesota to visit a friend, but he never arrived there.

Folz's vehicle, a burgundy or maroon four-door 1991 Ford Taurus with Minnesota license plates numbered DTC-675, is also missing. A photograph of the car is posted with this case summary.

Some reports state Folz was last seen at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center. There has been no activity on his bank accounts since he went missing. Few details are available in Folz's case, which remains unsolved. Willmar, Minnesota police are investigating.
