Rebecca Mineards of Northamptonshire knew she had to do something when one of her three-week-old pgymy goat twins, collapsed January 22. She removed Lily from her mother into the house, and began the long process of helping her recover from her critical illness, under a vet's supervision.
Lily had to wear a diaper as she's not housetrained and also cope with the small family dogs. Not a problem, as Lily's adopted a lot of dog behaviour - but has also kept her ability to headbutt. Rebecca says the dogs don't seem to mind. Rebecca herself has been sleeping on the sofa, as her husband won't have a goat in bed - baby pgymy or not - and Lily had to be watched while she was so ill.
A month later, Lily's still in the house but Rebecca's hoping she'll be well enough to return to her twin brother and mom soon.
