Robert Joseph Heiser was murdered in his Gilroy house Monday night, and on Wednesday, police detectives were searching for two women in connection to his death.
Detectives classified the 56-year-old man's death as a homicide. The coroner confirmed his cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head.

With the investigation now being treated as a homicide, police released images as well as surveillance footage of two women seen in East San Jose using Heisers credit cards at a convenience store, Espinoza said...
While investigators did not identify the women as suspects in Heisers death, they were looking to contact them as persons of interest.
The women were described as between the ages of 18 and 25, with one wearing a black parka, a black-and-white shirt and black pants and the other wearing a blue polo shirt and blue basketball shorts, police said.
