SABC's well-known journalist Uuyo Muoko was outside a Johannesburg, South Africa hospital, one minute away from a live broadcast covering the arrival of Zambia's president for treatment.

With the cameras already filming, three men walked up and mugged the astounded Muoko for his phone and pulled a gun on him when he refused to hand it over. Another crew member screamed at him to give it up.

The thieves, who brazenly walked in front of the cameras, got away with several phones and a laptop. The crew escaped unharmed and became the day's news story. No arrests have been made yet.

I'm not sure you know, because watching the video again, the guy in the striped shirt walks (with the guy in blue who is def a mugger) behind the presenter. They both do a double take and then appear to return to mug him?

But later, a guy in red appears in shot who also appears to be a mugger.

I'd have though police could have issued still shots of them by now.

Yeah, I was confused by that 3rd man. I did think he was one of the perps initially, but then the men in the blue and red shirts are definitely muggers, and the news stories say LE are looking for 2 muggers.

This report says he was mugged by "a group of passing men" which does suggest more than 2, so maybe it's more accurate:

I thought the same as you regarding the still shots.
