So, apologies that this is so very long. There just isn't a lot in the media thread so I thought would populate it.
This is by no means complete. I just thought it would be good to get a repository of articles that answer some FAQ in the threads, etc. I ran out of steam and time on the more current stuff but will continue this later.

Mar 22:
Initial local missing report from just 3.25 hours after Noah was reported missing. Little info but does *not* mention Noah being with another child.

Mar 23: Roanoke Times article, nothing of note found in search. This article shows a different timeline than other previously reported. “Noah is reported to have last been seen at his home in the 5400 block of Highland Road in Dublin, which Davis said is “slightly off the travel course.” According to authorities, Noah, his infant sibling and his mother dropped Noah’s father off at work in Dublin and returned home about 7 a.m. Sunday. They returned home and Noah began watching cartoons in the living room. But sometime between 9 and 9:30 a.m. the mother said she discovered Noah was missing.
Within a few hours, the appropriate crews were on the ground searching for the boy, Davis said.
The mother reported that the storm door to the house was closed at the time, but the interior door was open slightly. (sic)

Mar 24 article from Roanoke Times: Article reiderates much the same as other MSM’s re: the search. Article also states, “The parents, Paul Raymond Thomas, 32, and Ashley Jennifer White, 30, have not publicly made a statement, but as of Tuesday morning, they are cooperating with officials.
A family friend, Tabitha Stevers, who is running the “Help Find Missing Noah Thomas” Facebook page, posted that the family has been “begging, bugging” the police since Sunday to look into the chance that Noah was abducted.
When asked whether search warrants had been filed, an assistant clerk in Pulaski County Circuit Court said “everything in that case is sealed.”
On Tuesday at the Thomases’ home on Highland Road, the property and driveway were vacant — a stark change from yesterday when police and investigators were present and on duty.”

http://www.roanoke.com/news/local/p...cle_9684bd0b-0bc0-5e3f-af68-6b13023d6226.html

Volunteers sent away, no plans to search on the 25th: ““You’ll see the search get lighter, but that’s because we’re responding to investigative information,” Chrimes said. “You’ll still see plenty of effort going on, but it’ll just look a little different.”
A volunteer who waited two and a half hours to search at the New River Fairgrounds was sent home about 4:45 p.m. and told that there were “no search plans for tomorrow.”
Chrimes said that in 95 percent of missing children cases, the distance that searchers will find the child is within a 4-mile radius. Chrimes said they’ve covered “well beyond that” in the search for Noah.”

And reiderates the same timeline that the same author published the day before: “Noah is reported to have last been seen at his home in the 5400 block of Highland Road in Dublin, which Davis said is “slightly off the travel course.” According to authorities, Noah, his infant sibling and his mother dropped Noah’s father off at work at Phoenix Packaging Operations in Dublin and returned home about 7 a.m. Sunday. Noah began watching cartoons in the living room. But sometime between 9 and 9:30 a.m. the mother said she discovered Noah was missing.”

Mar 25: Southwest Times article (Southwest Times is a regional newspaper covering southwest Virginia, which includes Dublin, VA and Pulaski County) More content providing clarifying details including, ““Life was just fine” for the mother of 5-year-old Noah Terry Thomas Sunday morning until she saw her living room door standing “slightly open” and stepped outside to discover her child was nowhere to be found, Pulaski County Sheriff Jim Davis said Monday. It’s not Noah’s habit to wander off or go outside without permission, Davis said, but apparently he did go outside this time.” ““We have not one neighbor that saw anyone, not one suspicious vehicle in the area, not one stranger in the area,” the sheriff said. A couple of dogs tracked what is believed to be the boy’s scent Sunday, but they stopped tracking at the same place — near the road.
Davis says the location where the dogs stopped is only a “very short distance” from the house, but he wouldn’t speculate <modsnip>

Mar 24 (& updated Mar 25) “Time between Noah last sighting and start of search”
Video states,
“According to Noah Thomas’s mom, Noah was last seen around 9. The official search started around 10 that morning.” “…and in this case, Noah’s mom says that the time was about an hour.”

Written article accompanying video was updated to read: “UPDATE: On Tuesday night, Pulaski County Spokesman Anthony Akers clarified Sunday morning’s timeline. Thomas was last seen in the seven o’clock hour in the home after his father was taken to work. Wednesday morning Akers said search crews started at 11 a.m. This story has been updated to reflect that.”

Mar 24: This editorial specifically discusses the report of another child with Noah and questions where that info came from.
“No more mention of his being with another child and that may be info that is not necessary true at this point, but I do not know why the media put it out yesterday, but there has been no more mention of another child being with Noah since Sunday and he is thought to be alone now.” - Jerrie Dean “Missing Persons Examiner”

Mar 25: Roanoke Times article specifically discusses the change in the timeline.
“It was initially reported that Noah was last seen between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. However, at a news conference Wednesday, Assistant Pulaski County Administrator Anthony Akers clarified that Noah was actually last seen by his mother at 7 a.m. watching cartoons. His mother then went and took a nap, and woke up about 10:30 a.m. and noticed Noah was missing.
Akers said the mother did a search of the residence then immediately called 911, and the search began shortly after 11 a.m. That 911 call is not being released at this time since it is still a part of the investigation.”

Also mentions the home being monitored but movements not restricted:
“According to Akers, the parents, Paul Raymond Thomas, 32, and Ashley Jennifer White, 31, have been “extremely cooperative and very distraught” and are not ready to speak with the media yet.
While the parents’ movements are not being restricted, they are being monitored, Akers said. It is unclear at this time whether the family has hired a lawyer, but Akers speculated that they had been read their Miranda rights as part of the questioning process.
“Naturally in an investigation, you’re going to monitor the parents. That’s a natural part of the investigation,” Akers said. “We still 100 percent believe that Noah is alive.”
Later Wednesday, Akers clarified some comments he made during the news conference: The parents are “in no way being considered suspects,” he said, and the parents are being assisted in any way they need during this difficult time. Additionally, investigators and crews are not able to speculate on Noah’s current condition but continue to do everything in their power to find him and bring him home safely.”

And re: warrants:
“When asked on Tuesday whether search warrants had been filed, an assistant clerk in the Pulaski County Circuit Court said “everything in that case is sealed.””

Statement about volunteers being turned away:
“While volunteers weren’t turned away Wednesday, Akers said that the search would be “more methodical” with more trained professionals throughout the day. Additionally, crews searched the landfill located northwest of the Thomas residence on Virginia 100 near Giles County.”

Mar 25 Richmond Time article (Richmond is the state capitol, so while it is not geographically close to Dublin, it is of interest to the area this paper serves. This is actually an article picked up from the Roanoke Times. The two newspapers are owned by the same media company). General case discussion and recap. Another recap of the changed timeline, “It was initially reported that Noah was last seen between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. However, at a news conference on Wednesday, Assistant Pulaski County Administrator Anthony Akers clarified that Noah was actually last seen by his mother at 7 a.m. watching cartoons. His mother then went and took a nap, woke up around 10:35 a.m. and noticed Noah was missing.
Akers said his mother did a search of the residence then immediately called 911, and the search began shortly after 11 a.m. That 911 call is not being released for now, since it is still a part of the investigation.”

According to Davis, when Noah's mother, Ashley Jennifer White, 31, returned from dropping father Paul Raymond Thomas, 32, off at work, the mother stayed awake until 8 or 8:15 a.m., and then laid down to take a nap.
