Investigators say around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the discovery of possible human remains in a remote area in the 1000 block of Joe Joyner Road. The initial discovery of the bones was made by two juveniles who were walking in the wooded area earlier in the day. Deputies at the scene found what appeared to be a human skull.

Larry Tabb is missing from Atoka since 2000. Atoka is right next to Munford according to mapquest.

According to CharlieProject he lived here with his mom

Charlie Project has him missing from Shelby County which would be Memphis but he was picked up by 2 friends from Memphis and he may have ended up back in Atoka/Mumford area IMO. Robbery was the possible motive in his disappearance. He had received a large sum from an insurance settlement.

Identified, and the case is marked a homicide.

The remains were identified as Demarco Antrell Hunter of Memphis. In May of 2001, Hunter was reported missing in Shelby County. He was 24-years-old at the time and had dropped off a friend on Cosmos Cove and never returned to his Santa Monica St. residence. He was driving a blue 1991 Oldsmobile Delta 88, which was later found abandoned in the 1700 block of Preto St. with keys in the ignition and recently purchased food in the vehicle.

Glad he's finally been found. His poor family has been searching for him for 14 long years. Now justice has to be found for Demarco and his family. Prayers for strength and comfort as they go forward.
