A woman accused of being involved in a spring 2004 slaying of a North Carolina man during a multistate crime spree pleaded guilty to two charges yesterday in Stafford Circuit Court.
Tahishie L. Harrison, 27, of Hope Mills, N.C., pleaded guilty to abduction and conspiracy. In return for her guilty pleas, prosecutor Eric Olsen dropped charges of first-degree murder and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Harrison was accused of aiding in the slaying of 73-year-old William M. Dennis, who was driven from his home in Dunn, N.C., to Wyche Road in Stafford, where authorities say he was shot twice in the chest and killed.
Olsen said the woman suspected of committing the shooting, Mary Ann Webb, has not been charged in Stafford but is facing a capital murder charge in North Carolina and serious charges elsewhere.
Webb, Harrison and Philon are accused of committing a number of serious offenses last year from Florida to Maryland. Webb is accused of shooting three men with the other two acting as her accomplices, court records show.
