Movie star Jude Law has hinted about having Welsh roots in the past, but only revealed he had a grandmother living in Wales, who he visited frequently, when he appeared at her funeral in Bangor, Wales, Monday.
89-year-old Meinwen Parry died peacefully last month, age 89 and Law told local media at yesterday's funeral service that he is 'very proud' of his grandma's role in the community. Meinwen was active in helping members of her community in need and in her latter years had been reunited and formed a loving relationship with a daughter she'd had adopted in her youth. The daughter was also present at the funeral.
