58-year-old Carlo Yandolino and his wife Rebecca have spent a decade building up their special olive oil business in Newcastle, Placer County, California. Their story - how Carlo and Rebecca overcame her allergy and turned the 'mess' of dogs walking squashed, especially oily olives fallen from the unkempt, 350-year-old trees through the house into a thriving concern - is touching. Police say that Thursday, they believe a son neighbours say Carlo 'never mentioned' turned up, shot his father in the head, hit an employee with a rock and then went on the run. Carlo died.
Robert Yandolino has now been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. Police say they have no idea of a motive for the crimes.
