Woman's Body Found in Creek; Name Released.
GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Kentucky State Police have released the identity of the woman killed on Brushy Creek Road Wednesday morning.
Investigators say Sonya Hale, 37, of South Point was murdered and left in a creek bed. WSAZ spoke with residents in a South Point trailer park who say Hale used to live there with her son before moving to Greenup County, Kentucky. For the past month, Hale had been living with a friend on Bee Hollow, just a mile or so from where her body was found.
