Darla Renee Jackson was in court this week for charges of murder against a man, Zach Buob, whom prosecutors say she intentionally ran over with her car, while he was on his motorcycle in San Diego on June 4th, 2015.

Darla has an interesting history which involves at least two boyfriends getting restraining orders against her, and one claiming she threatened to run him over with her car.

Here are some articles:

Fake tears from a young woman with pretty well-documented anger management problems.

Funny how these types only feel sorry for themselves, and only after they've acted out to the point where it becomes a problem to them, e.g., committing a felony criminal offense...

Very interesting! Sounds like A Good one to follow. I'll be checking back on this one. Thank you for the link. = )

Thanks Jinka. I'm not too sure I am ready to get into another involved trial, but I will do my best to follow along. Sounds interesting.

ETA: My lord, those scribbled tattoos are enough to be on trial. Whatever was she thinking? They aren't even pretty ones. Just blobs and squiggles....?

Sounds like she was an accident waiting to happen. And she looks much older. I will definitely be following. here. Thank you for the heads up.

YAY - I am so happy there are some folks who are interested in this case.

For some strange (and probably sick reason) road rage incidents intrigue me. Often they are just a one-off incidents, and the people involved have never taken their anger to that level before... but not in this case (at least for the girl).

When I read about Darla's history of guys filing restraining orders on her due to her calling one of them like 70 times in one day, and her trying to mow one of them down with her car... I was like... OMG... THIS is going to be interesting.

Then learning that all these military guys filled the courtroom to represent for Zach...

what can I say, I'm hooked!!

I agree. This isn't your run-of-the-mill road rage. She was a loose cannon...

I'm interested in following this trial too. She does seem the obsessive type and that can lead to a sad ending for the other person.

Hi Maisiebelle! Glad you decided to check out this case! Yes, she sounds like she has problems with both obsessive and aggressive behavior... not a good combination!

Definitely not. I have no doubt she regrets what she did but it won't bring him back. She should have looked for help with her behaviours before it escalated to killing someone.

I too shall be following this trial! Thanks jinka for posting the link at the SideBar!

I also think she looks much older than 25 years old in those pictures, and her tattoos!!???!!! :gaah:

I didn't "see" anywhere where she will be back in court.... anyone?? TIA!

I'm local to this and the woman should spend a LONG time in prison for this. I have a 15 mile commute (an hour in SD traffic!) and see too many motorcycles to count on a regular day. Most drivers try to move out of the way for the bikes - at least I do.

It will be interesting to see how this unwinds.....

Hi, WestCoastLady. Hope we get to follow this together. Nice to meet ya!

Thanks for posting- I love reading discussions on other obscure forums that I never would normally read (I am weird that way!!)

That's how I feel, too. I found it interesting to read the posts on that site, though I would never have gone there had it not been for my interest in learning more about this case.

Several videos and articles: (I don't know why the links did not highlight to be clicked. You might have to copy/paste them into your browser. Sorry)

eyewitness recalls:
"I guess he shook his head and he sped up right next to her and saying, 'What's up,' and all of a sudden she tried to sideswipe him," Ramilo said.

Ramilo said that is when Buob kicked Jackson's Nissan Altima. At that point, Ramilo said the situation escalated from there.

"The lady got mad and followed him, tailgated him, tried to get him off the road," Ramilo said.
