An eagle-eyed lifeguard was caught on video rescuing a child in distress in a pool so crowded, it's hard to see how she managed to spot him so fast.
The rescue, which seems to have been caught accidentally by someone just filming family or friends elsewhere in the pool, shows her spot the child the moment his flotation ring flips. She's in the water and has the child in her arms the second he surfaces, before he can sink again. People right beside him hadn't even had time to react.
The video at the link - which the article says was shot in an unknown location but you can hear another lifeguard say 'hey' at the end - has to be viewed really carefully to even spot the child at the beginning.
