Australia - Wanted man asks police to issue better mugshot

Victoria police answered they'd be happy to take another - if he dropped into the station.

Daniel's told them he'll give himself up when he's found a lawyer and 'got things organized'.

On Friday, Victoria Police said on social media that Mr Damon had been arrested.

"We are happy to report that Daniel Damon, who was wanted on warrants, will be getting the new photo he requested. He was arrested today," the post said.

Police quickly followed up on the Facebook post, which has received almost 8000 likes and 470 comments in two hours, to say the new mugshot would not be published.

"Sorry everyone, unfortunately due to Victorian legislation we will be unable to share the latest results from Daniel's photoshoot."
