Pierce Brosnan was stopped by security at Burlington Airport in Vermont Sunday, after he tried to board a flight with a 10-inch hunting knife inside his hand luggage.
Although a ban on sharp objects such as boxcutters and knives in hand luggage has been in force since 9/11, the onetime star of the James Bond 007 films was reported to be angry and embarrassed at being stopped.
He was eventually allowed to board the flight, presumably without the knife.
