A man who claimed to be Tarzan, tried to swing into an exhibit and was arrested at the Santa Ana Zoo in California Wednesday, was rearrested Thursday.
This time, he snuck in through the side door of an art gallery and allegedly stole an iphone. The owner tracked him down to a flood control channel. As soon as officers made eye contact, he was off, jumping fences, hiding in garages and even in dumpsters. Along the way, suspect John Rodenborn managed to dip his hair into a bucket of blue paint, in attempt to disguise himself.
To no avail. He's been arrested again and this time is held on $220,000 bail. Police say Rodenborn was high on meth during the Tarzan episode, but no drugs or substances were present during the suspected theft and blue hair incident.
*If that paint dried, there's no way it will come out.
