The Tate Gallery in London, England, is appealing for people with any knowledge of British landscapes or buildings - or just good photographic sleuthing skills - to help. Artist John Piper took thousands of photos throughout the UK from the 1930s to the 1980s. Many of the buildings and even places have completely disappeared now, so the photos can't be identified.
The website can be searched by county, so if you like looking at old photos and think you may be able to identify the location of any of the hundreds of unidentified towns or buildings, give it a try!
