A mother in West Croydon, Adelaide has been jailed for seven and a half years for trying to gas her five and six-year-old daughters and herself, last August. She'll be eligible for parole in three and a half.
The three only survived because the girls' dad rang from prison and one
of them passed on the message the drunken mother had given her:
The judge said it would have taken many hours for the children to die and there was a great danger to others if the gas would have exploded. It was also revealed that the mother had previously been acquitted of another attempted murder charge after shooting a partner with a rifle.
The mother apologized for her actions to the court and said she didn't know who 'that person' was and she had now changed.

Mummy said to go **** yourself. She would speak to you in the next life".
