Woman Reported Missing
"A Lauderdale County woman has been missing since Labor Day, according to her family.

26-year-old Rebecca Henderson Paulk was last seen Sept. 7 in Lauderdale County. Her car was found in the Whynot community.

We are hoping that she has gotten into a vehicle with someone else or she's at someone's home," Calhoun said. "But her family has not heard from her now in at least three days. And so we are attempting to help them to locate her at this point and time."

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office at 601-486-4952.

Both the sheriff's office and Meridian Police Department acknowledged the missing person report but could not provide further information or a photo Friday evening. This story will be updated when more information is available.

I found her facebook page, but my tablet will not let me link it for some reason. It is Rebecca Anne Henderson (Rebecca Henderson Paulk) on it she listed living in Linden Alabama

This is so very sad for her family. All this time and no answers would drive me absolutely nutty! MSM has very little information on this case. We need a reporter to step it up & start digging for information.

Praying she is found soon.

There is a comment from a year ago asking if she was getting divorced.
She also said she had seven dogs at that time...wonder if any were with her? Probably not, since not mentioned.

26 year-old Rebecca Paulk was last seen in Linden, Alabama on September 7th 2015, and vehicle was later found abandoned in a wooded area in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. Rebecca was wearing blue jeans and an unknown color t-shirt. Rebecca has the tattoo of a fairy on her right torso, R C in her bikini area and the word Love with some designs tattooed on her left wrist. A Marengo County couple is desperate for answers tonight after their daughter disappeared over one week ago.
Wes and Janet Henderson last saw their daughter on Labor Day when she left their Demopolis home with the intent of returning.
Now they are offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who can give them answers about where their she is.
WVUAs Chelsea Barton sat down with the Hendersons today.

Rebecca Henderson Paulk is a 26-year-old female who weighs approximately 140 pounds and is 56″.
She has long blonde hair and green eyes.

Her 2006 white Honda Civic was found on Wednesday in a ditch alongside a logging road just over the Alabama state line in Lauderdale County, Mississippi.
Many of Rebeccas belongings were left inside the vehicle.

Paulk had been in Meridian that Monday. On Tuesday, Sept. 8, officials in Lauderdale County, Mississippi found Paulks vehicle stuck in a ditch on a rural road, near a Whynot, Mississippi racetrack. According to Wes Henderson, valuable items were found inside the vehicle, including medicine, her purse, and an iPad and laptop computer. Her cell phone was not in the vehicle.

The Lauderdale County Sheriffs Office has been working the missing persons report and utilized dogs and drones to search the area where Paulks vehicle was found.

I wonder why she had so many electronic belongings in her car in the first place? I only bring my laptop with me if I need it for work/school or if I am intending to be somewhere for a prolonged period so I may use it to watch Netflix etc. With an iPad, too, there would be even less need for both...

Stuck in a ditch... I was wondering if it was parked somewhere, wrecked, purposely ran off the road, were there other tire tracks, signs of a struggle? If she wrecked, she may have been disoriented and wandered off. Yet her Dad says she shouldn't have been in that area?

Does anyone on her FB page grab y'all's attention as the stalker type? She is beautiful....

The car was found in a secluded area where the ground was smooth enough to drive on. Rebecca's purse, laptop and iPad were found inside but not her cellphone.

also:

Henderson said Rebecca was last seen in a store in Meridian, Mississippi, and believes someone may have placed Paulk's vehicle in Whynot.
