I've made some maps, to have a visual representation of where people disappeared from. The I-5 corridor is beyond ridiculous.

    Oregon's Missing Children (0-19) - https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid...7c40dd86&msa=0

    Oregon's Missing Adults (20+) - https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid...9143,13.392334

This obviously doesn't have murders, just missing. But it's crazy to look at. I broke it up by decade as well.

Here's Washington. You'll notice the same thing about I-5.

Two killers leave a trail of bodies along Interstate 5 in California in the 1980s

Randall Brent Woodfield, the I-5 Killer, and Roger Reece Kibbe, the I-5 Strangler, combined for more than a dozen confirmed killings.

Together, they are responsible for more than a dozen confirmed killings, but investigators believe that the actual number could be at least four times as high.

They came from very different backgrounds. Randall Brent Woodfield, the I-5 Killer, was born in 1950 into an ordinary upper middle-class Salem, Ore., family. Handsome and athletic, Woodfield landed a spot on the Green Bay Packers football team in 1974, while he was still in college.

In contrast, Roger Reece Kibbe, the I-5 Strangler, born in 1949, was a loner, a stutterer who endured teasing at school and beatings from a mother who hated him.

Early initiation into crime was one common bond.

Thank you for all the links above SWDWTBN!! I have looked and gathered myself to check on trucking routes as I have some suspicions about a guy I once knew way back when...

Some of those listed were also somewhat tried to be tied to Keith Hunter Jespersen, The Happy Face Killer. He's a known suspect in at least a dozen disappearances throughout OR, WA, CA, ID, MT, and even some have speculated a tie to him and the original I-35 killer in TX/OK. Yes, he was a cocky individual and would love to brag and wants all the attention, but he's afraid of going to a state or even the Federal system if it means execution.

    I am in Eugene!

If you read my posts, I am not sweetness and light, so let me be uplifting . Eugene, Oregon is nestled right next to Springfield, Oregon, just like the Twin Cities in Minnesota, although with less population and fame. And no Vikings! Go Ducks! Matt Groening of Simpsons fame is from this area, so yes, that is the real Springfield in the Simpsons and Eugene is Shelbyville. We love our lemon tree.

Your list of missing and dead is heartbreaking and takes us back to reality. How do people become useful researchers like some of you are? will never be a police officer, prosecutor, or CSI technician, too old to change careers now. I am a technical writer for English who often works overseas, so that's not happening. How can I help identify the missing and that? I believe you are right, there's a possibility of a Eugene area killer.

If I can do grunt work on missing from Eugene, reach out to a reporter, stir a cold case detective, convict a killer, that's justice. How do I do that, where's the best place for volunteers to pitch in?
