Patricia was just listed in NAMUS: https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/31371/29/

Height 64-68 inches

Hazel/Green Eyes

Red/Auburn Hair

Freckles

From Namus Circumstances: Patty was sent to live with family in North Dakota, then brought back to Oklahoma to El Reno. From there she was in the care of Owasso Children's Baptist home and the last record they have of her was that she was going from them into Tulsa Oklahaoma DHS custody. We do have an official letter from DHS from 1994 when family was searching then, stating that she'd never been adopted out. That is the last known whereabouts.

Wanted to add that I let the posters on the following threads know of Patricia's addition to NAMUS: Arroyo Grande Jane Doe, Walker County Jane Doe, and Buckskin Girl. I sincerely hope and pray that Patricia is alive and well and living under a married name somewhere. Her family has been looking for her since 1994.

Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance
• Missing Since: 1980 - 1981 from Owasso, Oklahoma
• Classification: Endangered Missing
• Date of Birth: November 23, 1965
• Age: 14 - 16 years old
• Height and Weight: 5'4 - 5'8, 110 - 120 pounds
• Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian female. Red hair, hazel eyes. Patricia has a freckled complexion. Her nicknames are Patsi and Patty.

Details of Disappearance
Patricia was born in California. Some time later she was sent to live with relatives in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Six months later, she was taken to Oklahoma and ultimately went to stay at the Oklahoma Baptist Home for Children's Owasso campus. The last record they have of her is from sometime in 1980 or 1981; she was transferred over to the custody of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and supposedly sent to Tulsa. There has been no indication of Patricia's whereabouts since.

Two of Patricia's siblings have passed away, but two other siblings and one half-sister are actively looking for her. The circumstances of her disappearance are unclear.

Welcome, April. In a google search, I see that you've set up a Missing facebook page for her - you can post that on here, too.

Thank you! These are the current links circulating her information. I will add the one of NCMEC FB page when/if they share it. Are there any other mainstream search services that any one can recommend they get her added to? -April

Unfortunately the remaining sibling info is wrong from The Charley Project post. I did request a fix, but I am not terribly worried about it being changed. There are four remaining siblings on Patty's biological mother's side. (Loritha, Frank, Misty and myself). There is also at least one half sibling on her father's side, maybe more. -April

Hello. I'd like to update here about a few new facts we've learned about my sister. She did have an "S" tattoo on her right arm (not sure what part of the arm), a birthmark on her right knee is the shape of a circle and a scar on her right thigh from an old cut she had. I also have an updated timeline of where she was from the time she was brought back from North Dakota and a couple of new pics, they are not the greatest resolution though. I have already been contacted about the Jane Doe with the "S" tattoo, Namus#46 but at this time I don't think they are a match just due to timeline.

I was also able to obtain all of her records from DHS from when she was in their care and she went by Patsy. (Or Patsi)

She was living with family in North Dakota due to her family circumstances and ultimately brought back to Oklahoma to Canadian County shelter. From there she was in several state facilities and her timeline is as follows:

She was brought back from North Dakota to Canadian County Shelter May 1979 to June 1979

Lloyd E Rader from June 1979 to Sept 1979

Owasso Baptist Children's Home Sept 1979 to Sept 1980

Whitaker Orphanage Sept 1980 to June 1981

Taft June 1981 to July 1981

Tulsa Girl's Group Home July 1981 to August 1981 when she ran away.

Case was closed in 1983 when she would have aged out.

The "S" tattoo was on her upper right arm. Not sure if it was upper forearm or bicep but her records indicate "upper Rt arm". Also, we are currently getting DNA testing done to eliminate Nevada Jane Doe Namus #46 as a match. Patty was accounted for until August 31, 1981 and that Jane Doe was found in April I believe. I am currently working on getting 'the red headed murders' does tested.

Do you have any ideas/guesses what the "S" tattoo might stand for?

I do not. I understand there is a Jane Doe out there with an S tattoo on her arm as well. I can't find any connection to them, but she is unknown as well. I am working to get DNA testing to eliminate that being my sister, but the time frame she was found and my sister ran away don't match up right for it to be her.

DNA profile is complete. They can now run through CODIS to see if there is a match and I can now start requesting that others be compared to her as well.

Thank you for the update. Wishing you all the best.

Hopes and prayers that you find your sister April.

What was it like to get a social security number around that time? I wonder if she had one, or what to information she needed to get one if not. I truly hope she is out there somewhere. I did a fb search of different name variations she may use, and there are quite a lot of people with her name, or variances of it. Two of them stood out to me in particular.
