    Jamie Lee Miller

    Barrie woman missing since Thanksgiving

    Barrie, Ontario -
"The parents of 30-year-old Jamie Lee Miller are concerned about her whereabouts.

Miller was last seen by family and friends Oct. 3 and she last texted her family Thanksgiving weekend.

But she hasnít been seen or heard from since.

ďHer family reported it in November and we started interviewing witnesses,Ē Barrie Police Const. Sarah Bamford said.

Millerís mom lives in Kanata, but her daughterís lat-known address is in the Barrie area.

ďHer family is very concerned because thereís been no communication whatsoever,Ē Bamford said.

Millerís family said itís out of character for her not to be in contact with someone."

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."
