A pensioner was sent 12 bicycles, four boats and a luxury mobile home after a hacker spent £270,000 in one night under his name on eBay. Horst Lukas from Iserlohn in Germany, also received dozens of tickets to rock concerts and football matches.

Mr Lukas says he received dozens of letters of complaints and even threats after sending the ordered goods back unopened.

"I am at the end of my tether. I've been cursed at in letters and emails because I haven't been in touch about my purchases or have sent things back," he said.
