Phoenix police are searching for *advertiser censored*woman and a 1-year-old child who disappeared after being at the scene of a homicide Saturday afternoon. That homicide left a man dead.

Police search for woman, 1-year-old child missing after Phoenix homicide

Phoenix police are searching for a woman and a 1-year-old child who disappeared after being at the scene of a homicide Saturday afternoon. That homicide left a man dead.

Police fear the gunman in the homicide may have taken the woman and child, and that the pair could be in danger.

The woman has been identified as Veronica Huerta Brown. The child has been identified as King Richard Paz.

The homicide happened around 3 p.m. at a complex on Longview Avenue, near 12th Street and Indian School.

Police believe victim, child and Brown all were in car together when suspect approached.

Police believe suspect ordered then victim out of car with child.

Police say they believe the suspect then grabbed the child, shot the victim and then left in sedan.

Police don't believe it was a carjacking situation.

Search continues for missing woman and Richard Paz Garcia, suspected of shooting death
Phoenix Police have released more information about a deadly shooting on Saturday, a woman who disappeared from the scene and a possible suspect.

Police say Richard Paz Garcia is suspected of shooting and killing a man at an apartment complex near 12th Street and Indian School . The victim, a man around 20 years old, was reportedly living with Veronica Huerta and her 1-year-old son.

Huerta and the child are thought to have left the shooting scene with suspect Paz Garcia, who is also the baby's father. Police say the child has since been safely located.

Huerta, however, is still unaccounted for and police are worried for her safety.

Father, brother of accused killer arrested

The father and brother of a man accused of shooting and killing a man have been arrested for trying to destroy murder weapon.

The father and brother of a man accused of shooting and killing a man have been arrested for trying to destroy murder weapon.

Phoenix police say 50-year-old Juan Paz Rangel and 25-year-old Fredian Paz Garcia have been arrested for trying to hide or destroy the gun used in the shooting of Antonio Gonzales. Gonzales' girlfriend, 20-year-old Veronica Huerta, is still missing.

Huerta is believed to be with Garcia and she is considered to be an endangered person.
