Police Ask Public To Help Find Missing Elderly Woman

San Francisco police are asking the public for help in locating a missing woman who hasnt checked in with her family since Valentines Day.
Lani Uchida, 73, usually stays in single-room occupancy hotels in San Francisco and calls her family every Sunday from a payphone on the Embarcadero, police said today.
The last time she spoke to her family was on Feb. 15th, however, and she has not been heard from since.
Anyone who knows of Uchidas whereabouts or has seen her should call police or dial 911. Non-emergency tips can be made by calling (415) 575-4444 or texting to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.
