MAHASKA COUNTY, Iowa –A 13-year-old boy is dead following an accidental shooting in Mahaska County.

Once again, no charges. :banghead: They need to start charging the registered owners when known.

Article was posted afternoon of Mar 13, apparently the day of the shooting.
May be a bit early to conclude charges won't be filed. Still could happen.

I think the decision has already been made.

The sheriff's office investigated the shooting and determined it was accidental.

In (mis?)reading it, I did not think a finding of "accidental" would preclude crim charges.
