Just one of the dangers of being a mail man in America. Worrying that at any moment you can be climbing out of your mail truck and just about get run over by a car full of drunken cops. Who will then jump out, handcuff you and throw you in the back of an unmarked car, with your hands cuffed and without a seatbelt, forcing you to leave the mail truck you are in charge of unattended. Then drive you recklessly through the streets of New York, while taunting you and crashing into other vehicles banging you against the front seat. Then after they arrive at the police station, they give you a summons for disorderly conduct and release you.

You couldn’t make a story like this up. Nobody is safe in America. And it is not the criminals you have to be worried about, it’s the cops. Of course nothing will happen to the cops, in a city where even when a cop is convicted of killing someone, they get no jail time. Because they are just a few bad apples, as everybody keeps telling us. :facepalm:

Wow, is he ever lucky that he wasn't shot dead in cold blood, so that the heroic LEOs could be sure that they'd get home safely that day. After all, a black mailman may be a clever disguise for a terrorist carrying a bomb.
