Michael J. Gray, 23, went missing 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19, when he walked to the red box at Turkey Hill Minit Market, 330 E. Broad St., to return a movie rental. He has not been seen since.

This case is so weird to me. I am very familiar with this area and I have NO idea how someone could go missing from this location. There's so much car traffic. This Turkey Hill is literally right next to the Tamaqua Police Station. If he was walking from the Cedar St. address mentioned in the article, it's only a 5 min walk and he'd pass a grocery store and a couple bars on his way to the gas station. It's definitely not some deserted area where no one's around.

I actually just saw this article:

Looks like he just doesn't want to be in contact with his family from this quote:
Gray apparently was located sometime later and offered help, but has since been out of contact with family and friends.According to police, a Lansford woman contacted Lansford police a few days ago after seeing a man, later identified as Gray, hanging around her church and appearing as if he needed assistance.
Gray was picked up and taken to the Tamaqua Salvation Army Regional Community Center, where he was furnished with emergency lodging. Afterward, Gray was taken to the Salvation Army Center in Allentown.
Since then, his whereabouts cannot be confirmed.
