Officers say 26-year-old Tyesha Williams has been missing since Thursday, April 7. She was last seen at the Town Terrace located on Five Chop Road in Orangeburg.

The department is also searching for Robert Randolph Jr., 33, who officers believe may know her whereabouts. Officers also say the two may be traveling together in a silver 2008 to 2010 Mercedes or a dark color 2001 to 2005 Dodge Charger.

Not sure what in the heck is going on with the reporting. Her name is spelled differently AND the date she's been missing since is different. Accuracy, it's important :)

From your link:

OCSO investigators took the case after developing information from interviewing Randolph. That information led to Williams’ body, which was found in an unoccupied Whittaker Street residence around 1:45 a.m. Monday.

Randolph is being detained for further questioning. While he has not been charged with any crime, charges are possible.

Investigators are waiting on autopsy results to determine an official cause of death.

After six hours of deliberations, a jury determined Thursday that the 35-year-old high school dropout wasn’t guilty of murdering Tyesha Williams, a 26-year-old mother of three.

Instead, they found him guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

Judge R. Ferrell Cothran sentenced Randolph to the maximum sentence allowed under state law for involuntary manslaughter: five years. He was given credit for time served.

December 2017:

Man who hid body sentenced to 8 years
Robert Lee Randolph Jr., 35, pleaded guilty to desecrating the remains of Tyesha Williams, a 26-year-old mother of three.

On Tuesday, Circuit Judge Ed Dickson sentenced Randolph to an additional eight years in prison. He will begin serving those years after his sentence in Williams’ death is complete.
