NJ NJ - Neptune, Wht/HispFem 20-30, UP1498, distinctive jewelry, 'Zena" jeans, Jul'80

One possibility is Jennifer Prince, missing from adjacent Ocean County in November 1978. There's no indication Jennifer was Hispanic but we've seen that wrong before. She was 21 when last seen so the age is in the range. She was 5'7" which is spot on with this UID. Plus they both had brown hair.

Jennifer was married and had recently given birth. Prince looks like it was her married name.

Sadly there are no photos of Jennifer and she has no dentals on file which is the only available identifier to compare the UID.

I can write to the people who run the Brick Patch and ask them if anyone can provide pictures of her.

Depending on how you go, Neptune is about 20-45 minutes from Brick.

I wonder if she could have been a victim of Richard Biegenwald, the so-called Jersey Thrill Killer. If it was him, he died in prison 8 years ago.

Keep in mind that if the UID is Jennifer, she was not murdered right away. There is a gap of a year and a half so she would have been doing something for that period of time.

The remains were skeletal; estimated dates of death have been known to be off. I think it's worth a try.

I didn't. They can't compare the two as there are mismatched identifiers.

Perhaps they can work to fix that if they have a decent lead. Or we can find out whether or not she was already ruled out.

Brick is a distance from Neptune. If Neptune is your target area, try the Wall, NJ Patch: http://patch.com/new-jersey/wall
I could ask all of the group's in the area from Brick to Neptune. :) If we can find out her maiden name that will help immensely. I am a member of small bunch of local groups here and can ask around if we have enough information. I'm in Howell, so I might be able to do some light foot work here if we need it.

Does anyone have a newspaper.com subscription? I found an article that might have a picture of Jennifer Prince. https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/144029709/

Text of the post says: MISSING MODEL - Brick Township police are trying to locate Jennifer Prince, 174 Esmeralda Court. Mrs. Prince, a 5-foot-7-inch, 120-pound model, has been missing for about four weeks, police said. They said her husband, Stanley, told police she left him and their 4-month-old son. Police said the woman was reported as missing by her mother Saturday. When last seen the 21-year-old woman was wearing burgandy-colored boots and a rust-colored dress, police said.

They would need to have Jennifer's dental records.I doubt that is something the family kept and the records would not still exist at the dentist's office, assuming she had been to the dentist as an adult.

Dentals available; DNA and fingerprints are not. Just hate to see UIDs without DNA available--hopefully they find a way to get some.
No rule-outs so far.

Where did you get Hispanic from? NJ State Police says Caucasian

Sorry, I should have read her bio better.

I emailed Pam Reed the other day with the Doe Net link, sketch and article someone in the Princess Doe thread found. Pam contacted Donna Fontana with a request to determine if they can add the info. Donna requested her file, so if you're the type to pray, say one that she's able to get a new sketch or recon done. As we all know there are only dentals. According to the article her remains were lost. Hopefully Donna looks into that too. Would be nice if we had someone local that could do work on the cemetery too.
