Carnochan has made statements that the last time he saw Hartz she was alive and well, and was dropped off at a local business in Kingman approximately one month prior to his arrest on the unrelated identity theft charges.

A Canadian man believed to have been in the U.S. illegally for more than two decades has now been linked to three women who are missing in that country.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office says Robert Carnochan, 69, has been linked to 72-year-old Nancy Hartz of Kingman, Ariz., 73-year-old Verna Clayton of Dolan Springs, Ariz., and 77-year-old Neva Lindley of Las Vegas, Nev.

Carnochan was arrested April 13 in Yucca and booked into jail in Kingman on multiple fraud, identity theft and weapons charges. Evidence collected during the search of the Yucca home where Carnochan lived led to the discovery of personal possessions belonging to two other missing women, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

The Canadian Police need to look into unsolved crimes/missing people in Canada that he involved in.
Looks like he was hiding in US.

A Yucca man who is a person of interest in three missing persons cases was arraigned last week on a half dozen unrelated weapon charges.

Robert Lawson Carnochan, 69, pleaded not guilty to six counts of misconduct with a weapon for allegedly illegally possessing several weapons.

It sounds like they have arrested a serial killer. Now comes the hard part of gathering enough evidence to put him under the jail.

Does he have a cell phone where they can backtrack some locations? Maybe all the bodies are in the same area?
I wonder how he meets these women? A senior citizens organization?
Dolan Springs and Kingman are about 35 miles apart, on the southeast side of Las Vagas and there is a lot of other small towns that may have missing elderly women.

MISSING-PERSON CASE LEADS TO SUSPECTED CON MAN, OTHER DISAPPEARANCES
At this very moment people all over America are logging on for love. Nancy Hartz was searching for romance, sheriff's deputies say someone else was also online -- but he was searching for prey.
Almost 20 different names attached to just one man. Authorities and associates believe he's a con artist. But take a closer look. Is Robert Carnochan just a common swindler? Or could this many-faced man be hiding something much more evil?

At 71 years old, and with two marriages behind her, Kingman, Arizona local Nancy Rae Hartz had just about given up on romance. But all things being modern, the promise of love is always just a few clicks away, no matter your vintage.

Arizona Authorities Say 3 Missing Women Met Same Man Online
With her Arizona home sold and most of her belongings packed up, Nancy Rae Hartz was ready to spend her golden years on the road. Having been divorced and then widowed, she had recently found love again through a dating website, and the happy couple was going to travel in an RV.

When she left Kingman the morning of June 2, 2015, Hartz had a moment alone with her daughter.

"She said, 'Don't worry, baby. We'll keep in touch,'" daughter Denise Baggs recalls.

Don't know if this article has new info or not, I just happened upon it and found it interesting.

Sounds more to me that they might have a serial killer as opposed to a serial predator.

Why is this just now getting some airtime when they've known for months ? I wonder how many others he's victimized that were not reported missing.

I agree peacehope. He may have been doing this for years. There's no way IMO that three women involved with this guy are missing as a coincidence.

The best I can figure out, her family last saw her in June 2015 when she drove off with the person of interest. When questioned, he said he last saw her in March 2016, but that may or may not be true.

Worth the read.

The family got fake emails from her after she had been gone for two months so maybe she was already dead by then.

"The deputy who took the initial report was able to talk to someone who indicated that they were Nancy," said Mohave County Chief Deputy Sheriff Rodney Head. "And that they wanted to start a new life elsewhere and were not interested in having any further contact with their family. So the case really wasn't going anywhere."

Just wondering how the police checked the identity, or if they didn't.

Sounds like they've got their man. I agree with all of you that this was not his first. He's probably linked to many other disappearances. I wonder if he's had aliases.
