Details

James Stulka was last seen alive on August 13th, 1998 at 4:30 P.M. leaving his employer Coopers Entronics (Rolls Royce) in Mount Vernon, Ohio. On August 22nd, 1998 Coshocton County Deputies received a complaint of a suspicious abandoned vehicle off Bedford Township Highway 57. Deputies discovered James Stulka dead in the locked rear trunk compartment of his vehicle. The Franklin County Coroner determined that James Stulka had died from gunshot wounds to his head and ruled James' death a murder. WBNS 10TV Columbus OH January 2015 interview with BCI Special Agent on case:

Not a random robbery... because... Mr. Stulka's wallet was on him when the Sheriff's Department found him and there was quite a substantial amount of money in the wallet at the time."

Also from this interview, investigators believe Stulka's killer(s) may have had local knowledge of area where his car was left b/c it was a secluded & very rural oil field road in a wooded place.

Just read this on the Ohio unsolved case list.
Seems random, though I'm sure it's not.
Anyone have any more info on this one?
