Jorge Guerrero, a person of interest in the disappearance of 9-year-old Diana Alvarez, was charged in federal court Monday for possession of child *advertiser censored*.

The charges include allegations that a phone that had been in Guerrero's possession contained multiple images of child *advertiser censored*. The photographs show intimate parts of a young girl's body, but authorities said in the complaint that the child has not been identified and that some of the images were taken in December 2015.

Guerrero gave investigators the code to unlock the phone after he was apprehended.

Authorities tracked the phone using the assigned phone number and traced it from Orlando to Fort Myers the night before Diana disappeared and placed it in the area of her home between midnight and 3 a.m. May 29, the morning she disappeared, the complaint said.

I believe she could quite possibly still be alive. This is both sad and good. I can't imagine the horror she would be living if she has been trafficked but then that at least has her alive.

How's mom? I feel for her, especially being so pregnant.

Since I have no idea or have never heard it mentioned, does anyone have a ballpark figure of what a young female girl would be trafficked for?

If money, then where did Jorge put it? I think he is smart enough to not put it in a bank account.

It is so difficult to imagine how these criminals plan and execute such devious plots, but slip up on something as simple as their cell phone tracing their every step. You just can't fix stupid!

As for the Criminal Complaint, I also do not have a scribd account. What I do is go to a computer that does have scribd (workplace, public library, copy shop), open it on the screen, save each page with a right-click as a .jpg photo, then email it to myself to download on my computer later.

I dont have a scribd acct and mine shows. Chrome. Not sure if that matters.
 
Every time I read that GJ Ind. it feels like he sent it to someone. Like proof of grooming or non-resistance, like someone said. I keep thinking he would have spilled if someone else was involved, but his charges aren't that horrible, yet. He might prefer to fight whats there than risk the safety of others, if he names other people. Its all real icky. I dont feel like shes here anymore, but the case details still leave it open, for me.

Where is she. ugh. I dont want it to be another Relisha Rudd. Same exact questions. No 9 year old girl.

The sickening photos, as described, weren't something that she necessarily had to be conscious for. Or even alive. So there's some comfort there? Maybe? Ugh. Poor little one.

Although possible, I do not think he sold her. And, if he did, he likely didn't get paid. Who is he going to tell?

I do not think he had permission to take her from her home, as I do not think that her mom or mom's BF were involved in selling or giving her away. Therefore he kidnapped her and it was most likely for his own gratification. Then he killed her.

I find it amazing that he admitted that he was with her at 3am. It is like he thinks it is normal for 9 year olds to be up at 3am visiting with grown men. Unless he picked up a dead child from the home to dispose of her. But, mom's BF took and passed a poly, so I think that is unlikely.

Why would he throw away his phone and then call it? Why would he throw it on the side of the road instead of in body of water? Because he is not a smart criminal.

I know everyone will want sources and all that and I don't have any, but when people are lying about things, whatever it is - it happened at 3am or 3pm.

Why were all the children so quiet that morning (per mom's BF)? What happened the night before that made these little kids remain in bed and quiet? Something very unpleasant and they were afraid is what I would think. Why was no one up and getting ready for church as mom's bf expected them to be?

JMO you could put the link but not the name. I say this because the child is still missing and there is good reason to believe that she could be involved esp. if this case is about sending the child to MA in Mexico. Howver, if the charges seem completely unrelated, maybe not. Worst outcome, Mods will delete.

She hasn't been named a POI or suspect by LE. Therefore her arrest record, social media, etc is all off limits. If she has been quoted in MSM regarding this case THAT is discussable and linkable - but that is all.
