The Modoc County Sheriff has reversed a decision allowing weekend jail time for a Northern California doctor convicted of videotaping girls during gynecological exams.
Under pressure from victims and community leaders, Sheriff Bruce Mix has ordered Doctor Owen Panner Junior to serve out the remainder of a 60-day sentence in the county jail.
Panner pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges of filming the teenagers during pelvic exams. He was sentenced to 30 days on each charge and went to jail last week.
