Details of Disappearance
Linda Singh, a homemaker and a mother of two, was last seen in Victoria, Texas on April 9, 1984. She is believed to have been last seen by her husband, Gurkirat Singh, in the morning of April 9. Singh told police he dropped his wife off at the Trailways Bus Station at East Rio Grande, to catch a bus to Houston. She was to catch a flight to visit relatives in Kansas City, Missouri. She never showed up. Her relatives did not expect her.
A lawyer, representing Linda Singh in her divorce proceedings, reported her as missing four days later. Nobody on the bus she was supposedly on recognized her photo. She never picked up a ticket in Houston and was not on the flight that day.
Singh had no apparent reason to disappear, and foul play is possible.
